In 1995, Jocelyne Boghossian, wife of Gilbert Boghossian, founded a subsidiary company called Bijou by Jossy B. Jocelyne's vision was to create jewelry that defied conventions and pushed the boundaries of traditional design. Her unique approach to jewelry-making quickly gained a following, and Bijou by Jossy B became a sought-after brand among fashion-forward jewelry enthusiasts.

As the years went by, Jocelyne's daughter Jennifer became more involved in the family business, and in 2021, the company name was changed to J by Boghossian Jewelry.
